Dziya Tech is a mobile app that lets you monitor your GitLab CI/CD pipelines. This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the steps we take to keep it safe.
By using Dziya Tech, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.
🗂️ Information We Collect
Dziya Tech collects only the minimum information needed to function:
- GitLab Personal Access Token – entered by you to authenticate with the GitLab API.
- GitLab instance URL – the address of your GitLab server (e.g.
gitlab.comor a self-hosted instance). - Pipeline and CI/CD data – fetched in real time from your GitLab account via the API. This data is displayed in the app and is never stored beyond your session.
We do not collect your name, email address, location, device identifiers, or any other personal information.
⚙️ How We Use Information
The information handled by Dziya Tech is used solely to provide the features of the app:
- Authenticate with the GitLab API on your behalf.
- Display your pipeline statuses, jobs, and CI/CD activity.
- Send you local notifications about pipeline status changes (if you enable this feature).
Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with any third party. It is never used for advertising or marketing purposes.
🔒 Data Storage & Security
Your GitLab Personal Access Token is stored exclusively on your device using the platform's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). It is never transmitted to any server other than your GitLab instance.
No user data is stored on external servers or databases operated by DziyaTech. Pipeline data retrieved from GitLab is held in memory only for as long as it is displayed and is discarded when you close the app.
🔗 Third-Party Services GitLab API
Dziya Tech communicates exclusively with the GitLab API (or your self-hosted GitLab instance). No other external service, analytics provider, or advertising network is used.
When the app makes requests to the GitLab API, your network traffic is subject to GitLab's own Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it.
DziyaTech has no affiliation with GitLab B.V. GitLab is a trademark of GitLab B.V.
👤 User Responsibility
Because Dziya Tech connects directly to your GitLab account, you are responsible for:
- Keeping your Personal Access Token confidential and revoking it if you believe it has been compromised.
- Setting appropriate token scopes (we recommend read-only scopes such as
read_api). - Ensuring you have permission to access the GitLab projects and pipelines you monitor with this app.
🔄 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
For significant changes, we will provide a notice inside the app. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of Dziya Tech after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
